Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results. At this time your technician will confirm the order and pricing of the service.
Step 2: Furniture Moving
Our regular pricing includes moving a sofa, chairs, small tables and smaller items that may expose your carpet. Beds, dressers, entertainment centers, china cabinets and pieces that cover the carpet are left in place under our regular pricing structure. One of our consultants can quote the exact cost of any large pieces of furniture.
Step 3: Pre-spray
We use a preconditioning organic pre-spray that is actually safe to drink. This degreasing agent that is “green” certified is applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough cleaning. We have found that our pre-spray application is effective in removing most all soil issues in carpets. We have additional spotter sprays to remove any non permanent stains.
Step 4: Filtration Lines and Pre-spot Treatment
Filtration lines are those darker areas that can be seen along the edge of walls. This problem is caused by dust that is in the air, attaches to oil airborne droplets, then hits the wall and comes to rest along the baseboards. Filtration lines are treated and removable filtration soil is extracted. Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal. The areas that are most common that may require additional spotting solutions may include ink, small paint spots, and oil/grease from metal chairs. The issues that most commonly cause permanent stains in carpets are: Untreated filtration lines, Kool-Aid or red colored drinks, vomit or urine that has higher quantities of acid in it, and plant or furniture stains.
Step 5: Soil Extraction and Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with a powerful extraction carpet cleaning system without over-wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind. The extraction fluid used is the True Clean SS Water that is generated at our warehouse facility. This treated water enables the soil and pre-spray elements to be removed that regular tap water cannot achieve. The electronic extractor is designed so that the SS Water is applied so that there is no threat of the water penetrating to the backing of the carpet and over saturating the carpet.
Step 6: Electronic Dry Stroke
At the completion of the wet extraction process the extractor then passes over the carpet again, but this time no water fluids are applied. This step enables the powerful vacuum of the extractor to remove the final soiled moisture from the carpet to aid in achieving the 2 hour dry times.
Step 7: Post Spot
Any treatable spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many specialty spotting solutions. We have found that in some cases where carpets that have never had protection reapplied from when they were new, can have spots that once could be removed are no longer able to be removed. * For longer carpet life and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector applied to your carpet.
Step 8: Post Groom
Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.
Step 9: Speed Dry
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying.
Step 10: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.
